For many years Dell has been one of the best manufacturers in laptop segment. Now the company has stepped into mobile market. Dell Inc. is going to enter the mobile market with its smart phone Mini 5.

Don’t be confused with the picture of the image whether it is a phone or a small PC tablet. Well, the size of the phone is too big for a smartphone and too small for a PC tablet. It is of 5 inches.

Mini 5 has a touchscreen resolution of 640 x 360 pixels. The phone will provide access to online stores such as the Android phones. Users can download applicatins, games, wallpapers and ringtones directly from the stores.

It is learned from the leak information the Dell Mini 5 will be having a content partnership with Amazon. It is not yet too clear, but the information says that the Kindle, MP3, Video services and Kindle reader apps will be integrated from Amazon in it.

Dell’s tablets division General Manager Neeraj Choubey recently said that the company is undergoing negotiation with AT&T carrier to make this smartphone reach to the end consumers.

Anyway, AT&T has not yet officially confirmed any partnership with Dell. Hence, it is tough to say at this point of time whether the carrier will require a voice plan also with the data service. Generally AT&T goes for both with all the smartphones that it deals with.

However, the leaked information has not mentioned anything about the launching date, but it may hit the market very soon.
